This shit happens ALL THE I’m On My Wurst Behavior shirt… We have a wooded area in my neighborhood nicknamed “The Drop Off” because it’s so common for people to drive by, toss the dogs out, and then drive off… then they wander up into the neighborhood hungry looking for food. I can’t tell you how many strays & abandoned dogs I have taken in – I wash them up, feed them, love on them, and get an idea for their temperment before placing ads to rehome them with a safe family. The shelters we have here are kill shelters. Sometimes they dont even wait 30 days cuz they have so many dogs & cats. So I do not bother with the shelters. I take them in myself and find them new homes.
